How to Apply
To join the IPEM Clinical Technologist Training Scheme you must first be employed as a Trainee Clinical Technologist in an IPEM accredited centre. Please see the list of accredited centres on the left. If you don't already have such a post you could try the
NHS Jobs website
or the
IPEM jobs web page

To apply for the Clinical Technologist Training Scheme, in conjuction with the Training Co-ordinator for the Training Centre, you should complete and submit
an application form
which also includes Associate Membership of IPEM. This should be done within one week of commencing your training and be sent to the Membership and Training Manager at IPEM's York offices.

Latest training scheme handbook
The training scheme is aimed at enabling Clinical Technologists to achieve VRCT registration. You need to produce evidence of how you meet the Scopes of Practice. Your CV should provide evidence of what you have achieved so far and the training plan should show how you will achieve the remainder of the scopes.
