MIPEM for Chartered Members of IOP 

 
IPEM and IOP have signed a dual membership agreement that gives a 25% discount off each annual membership subscription where an individual is a member of both organisations in any category.  This discount does not apply to CPhys, CSci or CEng registration fees.

IPEM also offers a route to Corporate Membership (MIPEM) without interview to those IoP members who meet the following criteria:

  1. They should have MInstP or FInstP membership of IOP.
  2. They should have one or more of CSci, CPhys or CEng.
  3. They should be working (including university teaching or research) in an area of physics or engineering that has applications to medicine or biology.
This special route is open indefinitely.

Those admitted to Corporate Membership (MIPEM) by this special route will be eligible for an additional 25% discount for two full years from the date of admission, on the subscription due to IPEM only.

Following the two-year period of additional discount, members will revert from 50% discount on the subscription due to IPEM and 25% discount on the subscription due to IOP, to 25% discount on the subscriptions due to each organisation.

Applications for MIPEM by this special route should be made on the special, shortened Application Form (as an editable PDF) or by requesting it by e-mail.

This PDF form has fields that can be filled in using your keyboard. You should then print the completed form, sign it and have it signed by your proposers and supporters before submission by post. Alternatively, you can submit by email, and this will count as your signature. We always ask your proposers and supporters to confirm their support by way of a reference.
