Meeting Room Hire at Fairmount House
Fairmount House is a large Victorian townhouse overlooking York's stunning racecourse and the Knavesmire. Located on the edge of the city, Fairmount House is easily accessible by car as well as being within walking distance of York railway station.
The large original reception rooms and the library have been carefully refurbished and equipped with air-conditioning and audio visual facilities making them ideal for board and committee meetings as well as seminars, small conferences, interviews, examinations and training events. Two further meeting rooms are located on the second floor of the building.
Fairmount House is the office of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine, a registered charity which exists to advance physics and engineering applied to medicine and biology.
Audio Visual Equipment
We have the following equipment available for hire:
XGA Data Projector, Laptop, Video Player, Overhead Projector, 35mm Slide Projector and Flip Charts. Any additional equipment can be hired in to meet your needs, please contact the office for details.
Catering
We realise that good quality food is an essential part of a successful meeting. A number of different buffet style catering options are available. All tea and coffee is included in the meeting room hire.
