Protection of Employees and the General Public is a requirement by law, when an Employer wishes to use Ionising Radiations (X-rays and Radioactive materials), for purposes of diagnosis, treatment and research.

This conference will cover the requirements for Radiation Protection Shielding and the involvement of the User and Radiation Protection Advisers (RPAs) in the design of New and Existing facilities, and aims to inform and update delegates on regulatory requirements to provide shielding for radiation and issues encountered by RPAs, Architects and Contractors during the construction.

Target audience: RPAs, Clinical Scientists, Medical Physics trainees in radiation protection, Architects/Contractors & Regulators.

The FINAL PROGRAMME is now available to download.
