Society of Chemical Industry, London
This meeting is intended to provide the MR workforce with a practical update on current issues in MR safety. It aims to cover such issues as safety aspects of high field, implant safety, operational procedures, and the biological effects of electromagnetic (EM) field exposures.
In particular, this meeting will provide a focus on issues surrounding the recently approved MR Conditional cardiac pacemakers and HSE inspections of MR departments. It will be of interest to any healthcare professional working with MR equipment and is aimed at MR Safety Advisors, MR physicists, MR radiographers, radiologists, and researchers in the field.
We are also very pleased to announce that Frank G. Shellock, Ph.D. (Professor, University of Southern California, www.MRIsafety.com) will be a guest speaker, kindly sponsored by Metrasens.
